Your right to cancel an online order
If you buy a refurbished laptop or component through our website, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To cancel, email support@computer-repair-bolton.co.uk or call 07538 513916 with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us at the address above.
Condition of returned items
Items should be returned in the condition you received them, with all original accessories (chargers, cables) included. Since we sell graded refurbished stock, normal signs of the wear described in the item’s grade (A, B or C) are expected and won’t affect your refund.
Who pays return postage
If you’re simply changing your mind, you’re responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. If an item arrives faulty, not as described, or develops a fault covered by warranty, we’ll cover reasonable return postage — contact us first and we’ll arrange this.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and checked the returned item, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. We’ll email you to confirm once it’s issued.
Faulty or misdescribed items
All items are covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a refurbished laptop or component develops a genuine fault (not general wear consistent with its stated grade), we will repair, replace, or refund it, and this doesn’t affect your other statutory rights.
All refurbished laptops and components carry a 90-day warranty covering genuine hardware faults, in addition to your statutory rights.
Items shipped directly by our supplier
Some new components are shipped directly to you by our supplier rather than from our shop. This doesn’t change your rights — Computer Repair Bolton remains responsible for your order, and all cancellations, returns and faults should still be reported to us directly rather than the supplier.
Collection orders
If you’ve chosen to collect your item in person from the shop rather than have it delivered, the same cancellation and returns rights apply. Simply bring the item back to us at 30 Church Road, Bolton, BL1 6HE with your order confirmation.
Repair services
This returns policy covers physical goods bought through our shop. Repair services are covered separately by the 90-day warranty on parts and labour agreed at the time of booking. If a repair doesn’t resolve the fault it was booked for, or the same fault recurs, contact us and we’ll put it right at no extra charge within the warranty period.
