These terms apply to repair services booked and goods purchased through computer-repair-bolton.co.uk, operated by Computer Repair Bolton, 30 Church Road, Bolton, BL1 6HE.
Repair services
- A diagnostic fee may apply, as shown on the relevant service page; this is credited toward the repair cost if you go ahead
- We’ll always give you a fixed-price quote in writing before starting any chargeable work
- Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on parts and labour
- We’ll back up your data before any operation that risks data loss (e.g. a reinstall), but we’re not liable for data loss where you haven’t provided a backup and one wasn’t practical to take
- Devices left uncollected for more than 90 days after we’ve notified you the repair is complete may be disposed of or resold to cover the cost of parts and labour
Refurbished goods
- All refurbished laptops and components are graded (A, B or C) based on cosmetic condition; the grading shown on each product page reflects the condition at time of listing
- All refurbished items are tested before sale and carry a 90-day warranty against genuine hardware faults
- Stock is limited to one of each item unless stated otherwise — availability isn’t guaranteed until your order is confirmed
Orders and payment
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely via Stripe or PayPal at checkout. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to prices at this time.
Delivery, collection and dropship items
- In-stock refurbished laptops and components can be collected free of charge from our shop, or sent by tracked courier for a delivery charge shown at checkout
- Some new components are shipped directly to you by our supplier rather than from our shop; delivery timescales for these items may differ and will be indicated on the product page
- Regardless of who ships your order, Computer Repair Bolton remains responsible for it — contact us directly with any delivery issue rather than the supplier
Returns and cancellation

Liability
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service or item.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
